The Philosophers

What happened to seniority?

As the old adage goes, “all good things must come to an end.” That being said, whether the termination of seniority in EHS society is good or bad is up to oneself. According to Shakespeare, “nothing is neither good nor bad but thinking makes it so.” Wherever your perspectives may align, I think we can all agree that change is inevitable in a rapidly adapting society. Despite minor adjustments in the privileges offered to seniors, we are still granted several freedoms, as long as they are exercised before 10:45 pm.

What came first the chicken or the egg?

Obviously the egg. People may argue the point that you need a chicken to lay the egg, but, in essence, there is no way that chicken just randomly fell from the sky. It is crucial to analyze the history of the chicken. According to Darwin’s theories, we conclude that the chicken originated from the “Gallus-gallus,” an ancient bird from southeast Asia. However, this is simply the earliest form of chicken known to date, meaning unless chicken are a superior God-like species, it is safe to conclude the egg came first.

Why aren’t Didi Tyree and Matt Berendsen dating yet?

People all over Episcopal are trying to find an answer to this question. Being a close friend of both parties, we have observed their inability to confront their feelings, which seems to derive from fear. Neither Didi nor Matt are the guarded type, but they are fearful that “defining their relationship” might lead to an overwhelming stream of emotions. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
